To Join Tracks on a Ferris/Worster CD

  1. BEFORE YOU INSERT YOUR CD: Check to confirm that your iTunes settings are NOT set to automatically import your CD when you insert it. The correct setting is Show CD.

  2. Insert CD I in your CD-ROM drive.

Note: You must be connected to the Internet in order for your track labels to show up! If your track names don't appear, instead appearing as "Track 1," "Track 2," etc., connect your computer to the Internet. Be sure that you have chosen to Automatically retrieve CD track names from the Internet in the iTunes preferences.

Retrieve Names

If the track names do not appear, you can force them to appear by choosing Get CD Track Names from the Advanced menu.

Get CD Track Names

Note: Tracks must be ordered by the track number. If you see the arrow pointing up in the column above the track numbers, the tracks should appear numerically ordered.

Note: Problems may occur for a variety of reasons, mostly having to do with initially clicking in the wrong place . Tracks will then appear out of order. You can get them back in order, if the track number header is selected as shown above, by dragging the tracks back into the proper order.

If the track number header is selected, the tracks may be dragged and dropped back into the correct order.
